Handmade With Love

Everything is a little more beautiful when it’s made with heart and made by hand. This applies to a lot of things: A good meal, a handmade card, and CMD jewelry, too.
 
A big percentage of jewelry made today is mass produced. Larger jewelry manufacturers create hundreds of the same exact design with molds and impersonal machinery. At CMD, we make each and every piece by hand without the use a CAD/CAM machine, wax models, castings or prefabricated pieces. In a select few cases, we DO use ring castings or prefabricated elements like clasps or jump rings of a specific size, but this is not true of most CMD designs.
 
Our goal at CMD is to create stunning, long-lasting products that you’ll love and will last you for years to come. Smaller scale, handcrafted products are always of a higher quality, and we know and pride ourselves on this. Here in our studios, each piece is cut, soldered, and shaped by hand. This takes significantly more time, but we revel in it.
 
We only source the best materials from highly reputable suppliers, so you know you’re getting the good stuff. We support local whenever we possibly can, and we try to put our money where our heart is. After all, that’s what this business has always been about for me.
 
There’s a touching human connection element to handmade products that you just don’t get with mass-produced jewelry. When you have something in your hand that someone else made, it feels different than if it was made by a machine. It tells a story. Each individual piece is unique in its own right, because no maker creates two pieces that are exactly identical.
 
We’re extremely proud of the work we produce and you can bet we won’t be letting any piece of inferior quality leave our production, shipping or showroom facilities.
